CANADIAN LOCOMOTIVE SHOPS
MLW constructed only 10 RSD12 units. A 10 unit order was received from Companhia Siderurgia National in 1962. This rail was one of the key lines forming RFFSA. RFFSA 3501 switches a yard in Sao Paulo state in April of 1982.
RFFSA 3340 is one of 58 RS3's ordered in 1952 from Montreal Locomotive Works. Here 3340 switches the broad gauge at Belo Horizonte, MG April 3, 1980.
In many parts of Brazil duel gauge is common, as is meter and broad. Here, MLW RS3 3348, a sister unit #3343 and a transition car switches the meter gauge at Belo Horizonte.
Great Britain Rail Freight (GBRF) have acquired three JT locomotives which had been built at the EMD London Ontario plant from earlier European order (20078968).
