The Rock Island unit was at Tinley Park Il.  I knew this was coming so I was able to set up in a good place. Both were taken yesterday Sept. 13. The Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit was in DP at Whiting In. Sept. 11. on train 65R. To bad it was facing the wrong way. The Penn Central unit was at Whiting on Sept. 5th. The rebuilt Helm unit was at Dolton. Il. August 28th. The veterans unit was taken at Dixmoor  Il.  and the El Dorado was at Dolton Il. both were on August 23rd.    I will not be to keep up with the info Ken was able to provide but I will do what I can.  I would send him the shots I took and then he would tell me what you might want.  I will be sending you what ever I think you may need or what might be interesting.  At Ken's funeral ,the most incredible send off occurred. As you probably knew Ken was a master at rebuilding and tuning horns.  We set up a set of his favorite railroad the GTW a horn and at the conclusion of the ceremony the horn was sounded . I had the honor of operating the horn.  I sounded the two longs a short and a long which was his favorite which meant a train was on the way. On the last long I held it till the tank ran out of air. Nobody at that service will EVER forget that . They will now think of him when ever a train horn is heard
