CANADIAN LOCOMOTIVE SHOPS

Electro Motive Diesel Inc.

Leading Norfolk Southern train 367 with style Mike Ray took this great photograph of London-built Union Pacific SD70ACe 8772 at  Chattanooga, TN on May 31st.

Larry Broadbent snapped EMDX demo SD70ACe 2111 on the London Test Track on May 30, 2012.

As work at the London plant slowly winds down, the four KCS units were photographed on the ready tracks at the plant. Also, three lease units, EMDX 2110 and 2111 (in blue), and EMDX 2113 (in primer) were still on the property, along with a couple UP units hiding near the paint shop. There are a small number of incomplete units still inside the plant, and the area to the east of the facility that had been filled with cab units and other body panels, is now almost empty. Walter Pfefferle took these photos May 24th. In June they had been moved inside the plant.

On June 21st, Walter Pfefferle snapped UP SD70ACe 8774, EMDX 2110-2111-2113, and two more SD70ACe units in primer at the London Plant.

Geoff Williams snapped UP 8776 at EMD London on June 4th.
