The West Coast Railway Heritage Park hosted a very successful Polar Express for its 4th year. This year the Event was extended from one weekend to two (Nov 26/27 and Dec 3/4). The event featured a 50 minute round trip Train ride originating at the Mac Norris Station in the Heritage Park, and running to the Squamish Terminals. This was followed by a visit to the “North Pole” (the beautifully decorated CN Roundhouse and Conference Centre) to visit Santa & Mrs. Claus, ride the MiniRail, write Letters to Santa and do crafts in Santa’s workshop.

The Consist – FP7au (ex CP) WCXX 4069, (Head end Power) WCXX 9622 MacDonald Creek, coaches WCXX5652 and WCXX 5596 Paul D Roy in CP Tuscan livery, WCXX3223, and WCXX 3218 Bill & Dorothy Lahr in Heritage CN colors, and newly restored Caboose (ex BCOL) WCXX 1859.
